SewerLine Repair Atlanta

Services

Sewer line services for Atlanta homes

Sewer repair is not one job. Clearing a grease clog, cutting roots out of a clay lateral, lining a cracked pipe and replacing a collapsed one are different services with different tools. Start with the problem you have, and these pages explain the work behind each fix.

Choosing

Matching the service to the problem

Most sewer calls start the same way: drains are slow, a toilet gurgles or sewage has come up through a floor drain. What happens next depends on why. If the line is simply clogged with grease or debris, clearing or jetting it may be enough. If roots are getting in through old clay joints, they can be cut out, but sealing the joints is what keeps them out. If the pipe has cracked, sagged, collapsed or deformed, it needs a repair or a new line.

That is why a camera inspection is the starting point for anything beyond a one-off clog. It shows the material, the defects and their exact locations, and it is the evidence behind every recommendation on these pages.

Trenchless methods, lining and pipe bursting, repair or replace a line through small openings and are popular in Atlanta's tree-filled, historic yards. Excavation is still the right answer for sags and some isolated defects. The pages below explain when each one fits.
